Tandra Chakladar, a women entrepreneur, hails from Konarpur Village in Birbhum district, West Bengal, India. Holding a Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Burdwan, Tandra’s journey is an inspiring tale of empowerment and leadership. She serves as the President of the ‘Nari Shakti’ Self-Help Group (SHG), motivating and guiding women in her village towards economic independence. Tandra’s unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment extends to supporting them in handicrafts and skill development, providing opportunities for local women to enhance their livelihoods. Her leadership has not only transformed her own life but has also had a profound impact on the entire Konarpur community. Tandra Chakladar embodies the spirit of ‘Nari Shakti,’ serving as an inspiration for women to break barriers and realize their aspirations.
